Hugh's Room Live, Toronto's roots music destination, had their yearly visit from blues troubadour Guy Davis. His show spread out from a night of acoustic blues even including a couple of tunes and a spoken word soliloque from a musical he's written (his folks were big Broadway stars). He was joined at the end by Doris Mason who opened the night with some barrelhouse piano. Great to see Hugh's Room keeping the blues flame lit - where else are you going to see a touring blues artist in town?
